Job tasks and responsibilities
The primary role of the Receptionist is to provide professional and efficient customer service, work with a positive frame of mind, engage in a team approach, communicate information accurately to key stakeholders, and complete tasks readily and reliably.
The scope of projects and tasks performed varies widely from providing a warm, friendly and professional welcome for visitors, staff, students and families in the reception area, to administration support for staff, assistance and support when necessary with the School Uniform shop, and support where needed with special events and functions in the School.
Candidate Profile
- Must display familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity and proficiency with the TASS (The Alpha School System) is preferred but not essential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- The incumbent must be proficient at prioritising with a can-do attitude and have a friendly and professional disposition.
- Must have a strong desire to work as a collegial team member
- Ability to problem-solve and relay information accurately
- Previous reception and administration experience preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR
- A current Working with Children Check/Blue Card.
- Ability to do cash reconciliations and take accurate records.
