This is a OO2 progression position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the OO2 classification with eligibility for progression to the OO3 level once specific criteria have been met. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of OO2 to OO3 classification range.

Your role:
Responsibilities inlude -
Regular mowing and trimming of our school oval and lawn areas.
Maintaining the school gardens and playgrounds areas.
Attending to small-scale repairs to facilities.
Regular visual inspections of facilities and providing advice to the Principal and Business manager when repairs and maintainence work is required.
Membership of the school WH&C Committee that meets once per term.
Adherence to school, departmental and legislative WH&C procedures and policies.
Our ideal candidate:
Experience using a range of petrol and battery powered machinery such as ride-on and push mower, hand-held power tools such as whipper-snipper, hedge trimmer and chain saw.
Competency in maintaining gardens beds and plants.
Strong collaborative and cooperative skills.
