FRANCA is a Modern French Mediterranean-inspired Brasserie in Potts Point which has garnered 1 Hat in the SMH Good Food Guide. The venue is open Wednesday to Sunday and light filled with seating for 110 guests and is very focussed on personalised service.
PARLAR is inspired by the cutting-edge gastronomy of Barcelona, where Catalan recipes and traditions meet Mediterranean sunshine and produce, Parlar is an exceptional culinary experience offering a truly unique menu. An intimate and exquisitely designed space seats 45 across the dining room and bar, with outdoor seating for 10. The fine dining space is perfect for special occasion dining, intimate evenings and an opportunity to show people from out of town something unique and special in the heart of Sydney.
Reporting to the Restaurant and Venue Managers, ideal candidates would have previous experience in high-end dining and a passion for the industry. You will also be working as part of a talented, close-knit team.

Qualifications & Experience:
- English fluency
- 2 years experience as Section Waiter
This job will require you to:
- Greet and escort customers to their tables if necessary
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
- Inform customers about the day’s specials
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorisation
- Check customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Serve food and drink orders
- Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments
- Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
- Meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
- Follow all relevant health department regulations
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
