We provide strategic financial advice, establish robust financial management frameworks, oversee procurement, manage investments, and maintain financial accountability across all administrative operations.
About the opportunities
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be at the forefront of shaping the university’s financial landscape. With multiple full-time positions available on a permanent basis, this role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic planning while working alongside a team of driven individuals who value collaboration and innovation.
Key Focus Areas
Infrastructure:
- Develop and implement robust financial project management frameworks.
- Analyse revenue and expenditure trends, ensuring financial viability of capital projects and BAU operations within portfolio.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align financial objectives with project outcomes.
- Work with project managers to support build and execution of the University’s capital program.
Financial Performance:
- Support budget holders in effective financial management processes.
- Work with budget holders to support delivery of budgets, forecasts, and monthly reporting.
- Contribute to the development of performance measures to drive strategic decision-making.
- Provide appropriate, timely and quality advice and support on financial performance management activities.

About you
To be considered for this opportunity, you will demonstrate:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Full professional membership of a recognised accounting body.
- Substantial experience in financial management, with expertise in capital/infrastructure accounting and/or financial performance management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and computing skills.
Special Requirements
Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
