About the role

Cyber Crime threatens citizens, corporations, and government institutions alike. The digital enablement of modern policing through next generation policing systems, wearable devices, and highly connected policing field equipment greatly expands the digital threat surface for our day-to-day operations. 

The Cyber Security Command has the broad remit to establish and implement the Cyber Security plan for NSW Police. Based out of our state-of-the-art purpose-built cyber security centre, we are now seeking capable individuals to join our rapidly growing team.

This role is for an experienced SAP Security admin primarily responsible to develop, design, build, test and implement business requirements to support user management within SAP. The role performs governance reviews and risk assessments related to HR and finance changes within the SAP environment ensuring compliance / audit reviews are conducted and reported to management in timely manner.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our modern workspace in Sydney Olympic Park.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with SAP Application security implementation methodologies, role-based access control and ability to design and build user profiles in accordance with industry best practice standards.
  • Preference for tertiary qualifications in a relevant IT discipline or demonstrated experience in security assurance, risk management and/or security policy frameworks.
  • Ability and willingness to support team outside normal business hours if required for compliance testing or risk assessment and mitigation activities.
