If you think you’ve got what it takes to ‘be awesome’ with us, this is what you need to demonstrate;
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, and/or a related field
Proven experience in an IT security people management role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Strong understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies, such as penetration testing and vulnerability management.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are highly desirable.
As our Security Manager, you will put our values up in lights by delivering these activities and outcomes:
Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect Aussie Broadband’s digital assets and infrastructure.
Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in executing security initiatives.
Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security gaps and develop mitigation plans.
Monitor network traffic and security logs to detect and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into product development and operational processes.
Stay up to date on emerging cyber threats, trends, and technologies to continuously enhance Aussie Broadband's cyber security.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations.
Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of cybersecurity initiatives, including key metrics and performance indicators.
