About the role
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our dedicated Security team. This permanent full-time position is available immediately and includes working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster. The successful applicant will deal with clients, family members and visitors who may be violent, aggressive, agitated, and/or suffering a mental health illness. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved in accordance with the service's policies and procedures.
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Successful completion of the Certificate II in Security Operations.
- Ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner and prioritise workload.
- Adopts a customer service approach in dealing with staff, patients, and visitors.
Desirable:
- Experience in a hospital environment.
