In this key position, you will not only provide security leadership but also manage the delivery of operational security services and incident response capability.

In this key position, you will not only provide security leadership but also manage the delivery of operational security services and incident response capability.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of Security Operations and associated platforms, ensuring they align with Insignia Financials requirements. Your responsibilities include defining, implementing, and optimising Security Operations processes and procedures, as well as overseeing the detection and response to events and incidents according to established processes and SLAs. You will also coordinate team scheduling, drive the strategy for Security Operations (including the SOC and SIEM), and analyse and improve the enterprise network/systems cyber security posture and defence. Additionally, you will provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the Security Operations team, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment. You will communicate with Executive teams and Boards regarding cybersecurity incidents, collaborate with external stakeholders and industry experts, and establish reportable metrics for Security Operations activities. You will also serve as the escalation point for critical security incidents.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
In this role, we're looking for someone with a strong background in Security Operations, incident response, and threat hunting, along with a tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience. You should have hands-on experience with security tools like SIEM, UEBA, and SOAR, and a track record of leadership, including team management and leading Security Operations projects. Your experience should include working in enterprise IT environments, with a focus on attack modelling and response activities. You should have a deep understanding of cyber threats, common attack vectors, and security best practices like MITRE ATT&CK. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements is essential, as is excellent communication and reporting skills. We're looking for someone who can not only understand these complex technical concepts but also communicate them effectively and lead a team to implement them in practice.
