You will be accountable for all customer-facing liaison, sales and account management, new acquisition and range building.
Working closely with the incredible design team, you will liaise with existing clients and potentail clients to develop ranges, so a design background is essential to succeed in this role.
The Role
- Manage existing customer accounts and build relationships with buyers
- Provide excellent customer service, selling a range of styles and visiting customers at least twice a week
- Maximise sales with excellent product knowledge and upselling
- Manage price negotiations with customers
- Negotiate extensions with buyers if needed
- Attend fittings with buyers
- Manage and analyse weekly stock on hand for relevant customers
- Work closely with the design team to to create trend presentations and product development for new seasons
- The brief design team on new styles for costing and approving tech packs for costing and production
- Achieve and set monthly and season KPI/targets
- Attend weekly production meetings with CEO and production teams
About you
- Be passionate about delivering high standards in customer service
- Possesses excellent communication and people skills
- Be skilled at building strong relationships
- Be agile and have the ability to multi-task
- Have a proven record of successful wholesale apparel sales
- Be driven and able to work autonomously
- Possess strong garment construction knowledge with a minimum of 5 years in the industry
- Own transport is essential
