The ChallengeReporting to the CFO, key responsibilities will include:
- Manage month-end and year-end processes for the Group, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement review and analysis.
- Work with the broader team in managing the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Liaise and manage the audit process, external financial reporting and ASX compliance.
- Monthly, half-yearly and annual performance analysis.
- Own and manage tax, including transfer pricing and other compliance with external accountants, including, GST, BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT.
- Prepare sales and inventory reporting for internal stakeholders
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- You have recently completed a CA/CPA qualification and either commenced your career in a chartered firm within Audit/Business Services division, or at a large, complex, industry based role in a Junior Accountant position.
- You are a self starter with excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with Netsuite is preferred but not essential
- Proactive and adaptable approach
