Senior Accountant wanted by large Not for Profit in Liverpool for Year End project
Your new company
A leading Not For Profit organisation in the family services sector requires an experienced Senior Accountant for a year end financial accounting based project. 8-12 weeks with potential to extend. Liverpool based.
Your new role
Working closely with CFO and CEO on all financial reporting, key duties will include:
- Year end accounting processes
- Year end Audit preparation and liaison with external auditors
- Preparation of annual financial statements for two entities in line with accounting standards
- Cashflow forecasting and reporting
- Oversee year end accounts payable and receivable processes
- Review fortnightly payroll
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing accounting papers
- Monthly forecast variances and adjustments
- Support CFO with ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Using Technology One and Excel
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in Not for Profit or family services related organisations such as childcare or health
- CPA or CA qualified
- Ideally Technology One experience or other large ERP system
- Strong financial accounting experience including year end processes
- Annual statutory and financial statement preparation experience
- Previous payroll experience ideal
- Willingness to complete required security checks
