Senior Accountant

As the Senior Accountant the core responsibility of the role is to prepare the organisation's company accounts and to consolidate financial information for all the business units on a monthly basis, preparation and maintenance of group budgeting and forecasting.

The Role

This is a hands-on role where you will act as 2IC to the Financial Controller. As the Senior Accountant you will encompass skills that sit across the financials and putting together the monthly management reports whilst overseeing the day-to-day transactions of the company.

Your Profile

• A qualified, technically strong Chartered Accountant who has trained in a Big 4/ Mid-Tier audit environment.
• Demonstrable experience in auditing or financial statement preparation within large and complex consolidated groups, ideally within the manufacturing and/or distribution sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present to internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrable ability to be strategic and apply technical accounting knowledge to a commercial context.
