Senior Accountant - Brisbane, Qld

Embark on an exciting journey into finance and operations support! In this role, you'll assist our Finance Leader and the dynamic Operations team. Showcase your skills by efficiently delivering month-end results and precise forecasts. We'll provide thorough regulatory training to help you navigate financial regulations smoothly, adhering to our FCTG Group Accounting Policies. You'll also uphold financial integrity, diligently reconciling accounts and ensuring strict adherence to internal policies. Primary Accountabilities & Objectives

• Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Review intercompany transactions and eliminations
• Provide assistance to external auditors at reporting periods
• Month end close and preparation of financial reporting and analysis
• Design management reports effectively capturing the key business indicators
• Forecasting including 3 way modelling (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Cash Flow)
• Support the Finance Leader in driving and implementing key strategic initiatives
• Partnering with Operations leaders to delivery input into strategic initiatives and one best way projects

Experience

• CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a commercial environment
• Excel and Powerpoint - Intermediate level required
• Google Suite of products & Microsoft Office Suite Word
• Power BI
