AddressCorin is seeking a Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to join our Australian finance team, based in Pymble, Sydney.
The purpose of the Senior Accountant / Finance Manager is to produce timely and accurate monthly and annual financial statements for the Australian part of the business, along with a weekly cash flow forecast, with a hands-on approach and good attention to detail.
As our Senior Accountant / Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the
- Preparation and analysis of monthly balance sheets
- Ownership of the Australian balance sheet.
- Ownership of the revenue recognition
- Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including investigating variances, identifying trends, and providing presentations and commentary.
- Identify any risks and opportunities in the financial performance of the Australian Corin business.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts aligned with the Company’s strategic objectives.
- Preparation of the annual consolidated statutory accounts
- Commercial decision-making support.
- Proactively identify inefficient processes and spearhead improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the finance team with other accounting tasks where required.
- Liaise with external auditors.
- Ad hoc tasks as required.
Our ideal Senior Accountant / Finance Manager
- At least 4-5 years experience in a similar Management or Financial Accounting role or capacity in a medium to large organization
- Tertiary degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Business, or equivalent
- CA/CPA qualification or working towards one.
- A self-starter with an investigative and curious mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate effectively to finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and analyze large data sets.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Power Query/Pivot
- Japanese speaker – not essential however advantageous
