Travel Academy is Flight Centre’s education business with the purpose of setting up successful careers in the tourism industry. This is done through a University level diploma of travel and tourism and a fully supported job pathway with roles in the Whitsundays, aviation, live abroad, Flight Centre, hotels, sustainable tourism and tour guides. What you'll do
- Monthly reporting of student intakes, programs, CRM (HUBspot), academic achievements, Fee-help payments, progression and graduation
- Monthly reporting and analysis of student events, projects and strategic business plans
- Month end close and preparation of financial reporting and analysis
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Completing forecasting and budgeting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards and FCL minimum standards for financial systems and processes.
- Key member of management team to drive the business forward
- Design management reports effectively capturing key business indicators.
- Assist with the implementation of systems and process improvement initiatives
Your skills and qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- At least 3 years' experience in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar.
- Completed Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar or studying towards.
- Working towards CPA or CA Qualified highly desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels.
- Proven teamwork skills.
- High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with change, growth and fast paced environments
