The Company

This role reports to an experienced head of finance, who leads a high-performing, locally-based finance team.

The Role

• Prepare month-end management reports 
• Prepare monthly profit and loss and balance sheet reports
• Commentary and analysis of variances to forecast
• Prepare corporate cash-flow forecasts.
• Budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Prepare monthly reports for various business units
• Preparation of ATO requirements - FBT, BAS, Tax
• Ensure supplier payments are made in a timely manner
• Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders 
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Ad-hoc projects are required by the team.

Profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant / CPA
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards, tax and statutory requirements
• The ability to work under pressure and meet required timelines
• Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products
• Pro-active, confident communicator
• Problem solver 
• Team player
