About the Role
As the Head of Finance, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial landscape of our organisation, leading the team to oversee finance operations. You will drive financial strategy, planning, and analysis to champion data-driven decision-making processes. Your role will encompass delivering operational and management reporting to enhance business performance, crafting compelling business cases for investment decisions, and spearheading the evolution of Finance procedures for improved compliance and efficiency.
This pivotal role is preferably based in our support office in Bargara, Queensland.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and empower the finance team to deliver effective and efficient finance operations.
- Take responsibility for the preparation of monthly management reports and other essential financial obligations.
- Drive annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections.
- Enhance finance policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with the business leadership team to provide strategic financial support.
- Manage external finance and insurance relationships to align with business objectives.
About You
We are seeking a dynamic individual with proven leadership experience in finance, preferably CA/CPA qualified. You should demonstrate a commercial mindset, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for driving continuous improvement. Your ability to foster constructive relationships across all levels of the organisation will be paramount to your success.
Business Intelligence and Data Analytics experience are highly valued, as is your proficiency in crafting compelling business cases. You should be a progressive leader with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of driving change and innovation within the business.
