About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with an accounting and taxation firm to engage a Senior Business Services Accountant. This position is available in the Slacks Creek office on a permanent basis.
Applicants must have Australian CA or CPA qualification and membership.
Duties
- Deliver high-quality accounting and tax services (BAS, balance sheets)
- Manage client relationships in diverse small to medium businesses
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs
- Identify opportunities for client growth
- Manage government and regulatory correspondence
- Train junior team members
- Australian CA and/or CPA completed with membership
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field
- Demonstrated experience of the above Duties
- Experience with cloud-based accounting software
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and regulations
- 5+ years PQE in public or business services accounting or excellent communication and stakeholder skills
- 10+ PQE in a public or business services accounting firm
- Experience with ATO, ASIC, Tax Practitioners Board
- Cloud-based accounting software experience in Xero and MYOB
- 2 days remote WFH
