The CompanyThis fast expanding and highly reputable business is going through a restructure and are looking to bring onboard a Senior AP & Systems Specialist in a newly created role! You will be working in a forward thinking business who thrive on working in a fast paced environment and are constantly looking to improve. This is a permanent, full time role based in Pyrmont with flexibility to WFH 2-3 days per week.
The Role
Joining the Sydney Finance team and reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your primary duties will comprise of:
- Assisting with the system implementation and ongoing challenges involved with this
- Working to integrate multiple AP systems
- Matching and batching and coding invoices
- Updating purchase Orders
- Managing Payment runs
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Updating purchase orders
- Liaising with the offshore AP team on local processes
You are a highly adaptable people person who enjoys working in a medium sized team with different personalities. You are highly organised with a high attention to detail and a team player.
- 5+ years experience within a similar Accounts Payable role
- Experience working with system implementations/transitions
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Be a hard working team player
- Have experience in Excel to at least an intermediate level
