The Role
Due to continuous growth in our business, we have an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic result driven Diversity, Equity and Inclusion specialist to join our high performing and innovative People & Culture team on a permanent part time basis working 3 days a week.
With a significant focus on collaborating and consulting, the successful candidate will partner with Leadership teams to develop, implement and drive innovative initiatives, policies, practices and programs that create a culture of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB).
You will partner with the Manager Workforce Planning & Capability in developing and executing EDIB strategy that is aligned with the Divisional and Group business plans. You will provide strategic and operational advice with the opportunity to collaborate with the wider business as you make a positive impact and continue to grow your career.
Living and breathing flexibility, we are flexible for this role to be in our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane office.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or Management Administration (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion policies, initiatives, and programs in an organisational context with measurable business outcomes.
In depth understanding and experience with Diversity & Inclusion. legislation and practices including WGEA Annual Compliance Program, WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality, Gender Pay Gaps, A positive Duty under Sexual Harassment Act, Respect at Work.
Highly developed interpersonal, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to meet. deadlines in an environment with competing demands.
Ability to work autonomously and to exercise initiative and discretion.
Co-operative and flexible work style to work in a team environment.
Strong understanding of intersectionality and complexities with applying the concept to an organizational context (Desirable)
Experience with Reconciliation Australia’s Reconciliation Action Plan Frameworks and implementation in an organizational context (Desirable)
