The role
A rare opportunity has become available for a Senior Advisor within the Group’s Investor Relations team. Reporting to the Executive Manager of Investor Relations, you will assist the team in managing Suncorp’s Investor Relation’s activities, primarily involving investor communications, management of the share registry, and involvement in other various projects as required.
Our Investor Relations team works closely with senior executives across all of Suncorp, offering the successful applicant with an opportunity to develop their understanding of the Group, as well as providing a high level of visibility with key stakeholders.
What you’ll do
- Manage the preparation of clear, accurate, credible and consistent communications for the investment and analyst community, designed to ensure all market participants are fully and fairly informed about all material information to enable them to make reasonable decisions which should result in Suncorp’s securities trading at fair value over the longer term
- Assist in the preparation of Financial Results, the Annual General Meeting, Investor Days and retail shareholder events
- Support the management of the relationship with Suncorp’s share registry including frequent shareholder communications, capital transactions and dividend & interest payments
- Assist in preparation of Investor Relations weekly and monthly reporting including inputs into the CFO Report
- Preparation of ad-hoc share price reporting
- Maintain and analyse sell-side analyst consensus
- Manage the Investor Relations inbox and collaborate with other Suncorp teams as required to respond to incoming queries
- Assist in the maintenance of the Investor Centre on the Suncorp Group website
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in either Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Law, Communications (essential)
- Knowledge of the Australian financial services industry
- Knowledge of financial markets and market participants
- 3+ years experience in a similar or related role
