We have two exciting opportunities to join the EPA as a Senior Intelligence Analyst. In these roles you will work closely with stakeholders to develop and deliver the intelligence needed to inform regulatory decision-making. You will have the opportunity to lead intelligence development on key issues and support the continued improvement of the EPA's intelligence function at the strategic, operational and tactical levels.
About You
You are a skilled and experienced intelligence analyst with a background in regulation, law enforcement, tactical or strategic analysis or other relevant areas. You may have knowledge of environmental matters however it is not mandatory. You have a strong commitment to the outcomes sought by the EPA along with excellent analytical, communication and relationship building skills.
About the Team
The EPA Waste Crime Taskforce:
An ongoing position is available in the EPA Waste Crime Taskforce focused on tactical and operational intelligence.
The EPA Waste Crime Taskforce sits within the EPA's Priority Compliance and Investigation Branch and investigates serious and/or high-profile waste crime offences with a view to prosecution and plans and executes proactive compliance campaigns and other operations in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to prevent and disrupt waste crime. The WCT is a multi-skilled team of investigators, lawyers, intelligence and operational officers.
The EPA Intelligence & Analysis Unit:
A temporary 18-month position with the possibility of extension is available in the EPA Intelligence & Analysis Unit focused on strategic intelligence.
The EPA Intelligence and Analysis Unit is the central intelligence team for the EPA. We work with our customers and partners across the EPA and Government to collect and manage information, build partnerships, produce intelligence and solve regulatory problems.
The unit is part of a broader Digital, Data and Intelligence Branch.
