The Candidate:
Essential criteria
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) along with the professionalism and maturity to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- The successful candidate may lead a small team demonstrating an ability to develop and mentor the team to understand the relevance of their outputs ensuring they are reliable, relevant, high value products and services.
- Interface with Defence staff and vendors ensuring technical services drive focus on all aspects of the agency's priority initiatives.
- Operational-level intelligence analysis and advice in the form of verbal and written reports to the agency's planning staff as required.
- Develop plans and proactively identify opportunities to enhance intelligence functions.
- Consolidate and analyse multiple-source information and write reports which summarise the security threats to the agency's capabilities and provide input.
- Participate in intelligence analysis working groups in support of the agency and other Components.
- Provide subject matter expertise into the agency's force structure, specifically regarding skills, experience and qualifications required to establish an operational branch.

- Previous experience in a similar intelligence role within the Defence industry
- TS PV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) Security Clearance required
- Bungendore based, 1 year contract with with 2 further 12-month options to extend
