As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our domestic and international growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and shaping the future of market insights.
Position:Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Sydney, flexible WFH arrangements
Package: $130k-$180k base + superannuation + profit share/uncapped commission - Base will affect commission structure.
*This role will suit a candidate who loves the "Hunt" uncovering and developing new clients, previous experience with Insights and behavioural science or a psychology background.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Identify, cultivate, and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in various industries to expand our market reach and drive revenue growth.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. Cultivate strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas of growth. Utilize insights to refine our offerings and stay ahead of industry shifts
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with the sales team to drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance our brand presence and network with potential clients and partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of successful Business Development experience,
- Demonstrated experience within a sales capacity for a market research provider or similar
- Familiarity with market insights, data analysis, and trends in the business intelligence landscape.
- Ability to envision and execute innovative business strategies that drive growth and market expansion.
- Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills to establish and nurture relationships with potential clients and partners.
- Demonstrated proficiency in consultative selling, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and solutions.
- Comfortable in a fast paced startup environment with the flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities.
