In this role your primary focus will be on enhancing revenue growth through both the acquisition of new business and the retention of existing clients in our IT reselling business. This position demands an individual who is adept in initiating new business engagements, managing leads effectively, reactivating dormant accounts, and maximizing conversion opportunities within our existing client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, outstanding communication skills, and a strategic approach to Business Development.
You Need to Bring:
- Natural sales ability with a talent for connecting with people.
- A minimum of three years' experience in outside or B2B sales, with a focus on IT-related goods.
- A proven track record in developing sales pipelines and achieving sales targets.
- Experience in the eCommerce industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:
New Business Sales:
- Proactively conduct outbound calls and engage in direct prospecting to cultivate new business opportunities.
- Efficiently identify and qualify leads, utilising excellent communication skills to understand and meet client needs.
- Clearly articulate the benefits of our IT products/services and customise offers to meet potential clients' specific requirements.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to capitalise on marketing campaigns and generate new business leads.
Account Management:
- Foster and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels and client retention.
- Strategically reactivate dormant accounts through focused outreach and relationship-building efforts.
- Work closely with internal teams to guarantee smooth onboarding and continuous support for clients.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products/services to meet the evolving needs of existing clients.
Lead Conversion:
- Promptly respond to inbound leads, assess their requirements, and offer suitable IT solutions.
- Employ a systematic approach to lead management, ensuring consistent follow-ups and accurate documentation.
- Team up with the sales department to develop and execute effective lead conversion strategies.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Keep precise and current records of all client interactions within the CRM system.
- Regularly report on progress in new business acquisition, lead conversion, and account retention.
- Analyze sales data to spot trends, opportunities, and areas requiring improvement.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales and account management, with a preference for candidates with experience in IT or telecommunications sales.
