Senior Business Development Manager (Telecommunications & Critical Communications Solutions)
AA Radio Services, a leader in mission-critical communications solutions with a 50+ year legacy, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Development Manager to join our growing team due to a well-deserved retirement.

You will play a key role in building upon this foundation and driving new sales opportunities within the government and corporate sectors, with a focus on winning tenders.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the tendering process, managing all aspects from initial bid preparation to final submission for both new and existing contracts, ensuring proposals are compliant, competitive, and showcase our expertise.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the government and corporate sectors, focusing on areas where our radio and communications solutions can provide significant value.
- Assist in developing and implementing a strategic Business Development plan aligned with overall company goals.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities in the radio and communications industry, with a focus on government and corporate sectors.
- Research and qualify leads, assessing their potential and fit with our offerings.
- Manage the tendering process for government and corporate contracts, leading the development of compelling proposals that win bids.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at potential client organizations, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Deliver impactful presentations and effectively negotiate contract terms.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technologies, identifying new market opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior Business Development or related sales role.
- Proven track record of securing major contracts, particularly within government and corporate tendering processes.
- Understanding of the radio and telecommunications industry (a plus, but not essential).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
