About the Role
In this role you will:
- Facilitate the Digitisation/Retrieval of records from Councils third party supplier
- Get to use your detective skills to undertake investigation of historical records to support teams in resolving business problems.
- Work with contractors and internal teams to efficiently deliver the organisations incoming and outgoing mail services.
- Manage Councils records collection, undertaking the archiving and disposal of records in accordance with Public Records Office Victoria guidelines.
- Collaborate with or escalate problems to more senior staff if required.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on Information/Records Management best practice and system use.
The person we are looking for:
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Has information/records management skills and experience.
- Has the ability to work independently, manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Has an inquisitive, punctual, reliable, and proactive nature.
- Wants to work in a role where they can make a difference for their colleagues and the organization.
- Previous experience working in a similar role, or utilizing HPE Content Manager/Microfocus Content Manager is desirable, but not essential.
