Intro Recruitment is partnering with a Government Construction business with projects across Commercial and Residential building and maintenance. Due to recent growth and success our client is looking to appoint an AO5Senior Business Support Officer to Manage the overall function, performance and staff of the business support section to ensure successful business outcomes across all services provided.

Responsibilities:

  • You will provide support, advice, and information to ensure high quality outcomes in relation to finance, reporting and administration functions for QBuild NQ region by providing high level assistance, support and advice to the Business Manager and team.
  • Assisting with the management of the budget and associated functions
  • Preparing accurate data reports on a regular basis as required
  • Monitoring a range of financial information processes and procedures for the reporting and analysis of financial management
  • Coordinating and maintaining a suite of high-level management reports (including End of Month Financial Reports and Income Statements) to assist in the monitoring of financial performance.
  • Analysing and interpreting financial data including budget forecasting, cashflow and journaling
  • Coordinate the implementation of business initiatives and resolve implementation issues within the section
  • Coordinate and manage a range of administrative support activities to enable a service that is responsive to the needs of the business unit by providing administrative support and advice to senior management and staff on administrative operational issues.
  • Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your staff
  • Demonstrate professionalism, be an enthusiastic contributor to QBuild culture and a positive leader to a great team while motivating staff to exceed expectations
Candidate Criteria:
  • Excel skills are mandatory
  • Experienced in computer applications
  • Sound typing skills with good accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet timeframes
