Senior Civil Estimator

We’ve partnered with a market-leading engineering consultancy that manage the planning and procurement for major project infrastructure across Australia. They specialise in project estimating, planning, and risk analysis, and are working on some of the biggest projects in the country. THE WHAT:
We are looking for a Senior CivilEstimator to join the clients’ high-performing team and be based in their modern Brisbane -suburban office. Working predominately office based and client side with one of the best Estimating Managers in the game team, and with a focus on the biggest  rail and civil transport infrastructure in Australia, the Senior Civil Estimator will:

• Complete detailed resource estimates
• Apply first principle practices
• Prepare tender submissions
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers and assist with RFI’s
• Be a good egg and add value to the business

THE THINGS WE NEED:
The role can be tailored to match the person, ranging from someone with at least 5 yearsfirst principle experience. This role will suit someone who has come from a contractor background, or someone who has consultancy experience. Key requirements include:

• Proven experience in Australian civil/rail infrastructure as a Civil Estimator
• 5 + years First principle estimating experience
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Understanding of constructionmethodology
