Successful candidates will have experience in a similar role with exposure to claims management under the PIPA, attended conferences, managed litigation, be emotionally intelligent and possess a great customer service standard, with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively part of a team. The QGIF is a self-insurance scheme for Government risks and provides services which identify liabilities on a whole-of-Government basis to ensure the establishment of adequate provisioning to fund claim managements. The role will involve working in a collaborative team, on a portfolio of personal injury claims from the initial assessment and investigation to the negotiation and settlement. You will be reporting to the Director and Claims Manager on a regular basis.
