Form of workWe have partnered with the Queensland Government Insurance Fund branch (QGIF) and are seeking experienced legal professionals to join the team as Claims Advisors and be responsible for the end-to-end processing of a range of personal injury claims. Successful candidates will have experience in a similar role with exposure to claims management under the PIPA, attended conferences, managed litigation, be emotionally intelligent and possess a great customer service standard, with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively part of a team. The QGIF is a self-insurance scheme for Government risks and provides services which identify liabilities on a whole-of-Government basis to ensure the establishment of adequate provisioning to fund claim managements. The role will involve working in a collaborative team, on a portfolio of personal injury claims from the initial assessment and investigation to the negotiation and settlement. You will be reporting to the Director and Claims Manager on a regular basis.
