Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Senior Client Services Officer to join Student Services, Student Services and Wellbeing, Administrative Division.
The Senior Client Services Officer plays a key role in supporting the QUT Student Services department including the QUT Medical Centres by ensuring exceptional client service, as well as efficient information, operational and administrative services. This position supports the Business Services Coordinator to implement a range of administrative initiatives and projects for the department. The Senior Client Services Officer plays a key role in leading the Client Services team, providing day-to-day support to ensure the delivery of a cohesive client focused service across our student and medical service sites.

The Student Services and Wellbeing portfolio leads the university-wide strategy and coordination of all non-academic matters related to the student experience. This includes developing a campus culture which is inclusive, safe, and respectful for all students and staff. Student Services is responsible for providing a range of services to support the health and wellbeing of students in areas of Accommodation, Chaplaincy, Counselling, Disability Support, International Student Support, Welfare Services and QUT Medical Centres..
What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree with subsequent relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the review, implementation and evaluation of business systems and processes to deliver effective professional services to clients.
- Experience in supporting a service delivery model for the Student Services Department, including the operation of a health and medical service.
- Highly developed written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with others and effectively liaise and negotiate with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
- Proven digital literacy using a range of applications and databases, including the ability to gather, interpret and analyse data.
- Demonstrated high level planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
