Senior Commercial Lawyer - Technology Practice

Our client is a prominent national commercial law firm. They offer a comprehensive range of legal services to a diverse array of clients, including large public and private entities, government agencies, and individuals. The Firm is seeking a Commercial Lawyer with extensive experience in Technology, IP, Data and Privacy law.

The Position Focuses On The Following

• Engaging and diverse workload in Technology, IP, Data, and Privacy law.
• Working with clients on drafting commercial contracts and other arrangements regarding licensing, technology, IP and data issues
• There is an advisory component which requires up-to-date knowledge and familiarity with Privacy, IP and Australian Consumer Law
• Deals with Australian Consumer Law and Corporations Act matters.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years + PAE
• Experience in drafting commercial contracts and other arrangements regarding licensing, technology, IP and data issues
• a commercial, client-centric approach;
• an interest in business and the business of the clients with whom you work
• Sound knowledge of data and privacy lawyers, as well as general corporate and commercial law experience
