Senior Communications Manager

Morgan McKinley is excited to be partnering with a well-known Financial Services Organisation to recruit a Senior Communications Manager!

Your team will be responsible for delivering an integrated and consistent approach to the Group's marketing, brand, external and internal affairs, communications, and sustainability.

We're looking for an experienced communications professional with strong PR campaign and media experience and a passion for driving measurable outcomes.

This role will support the Executive Manager Corporate Affairs and plays a pivotal role in executing communication plans and driving proactive media engagement activity as well as supporting marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• You will create and deliver communication strategies across a portfolio of areas of the businesses and may also contribute to the delivery of strategies and plans to support Group-wide campaigns and initiatives.
• You will work closely with leadership teams to oversee and manage external communications activity, and create and drive compelling narratives, campaigns and media opportunities.
• You will also provide leadership and direction in responding to issues
• You will have a strong writing skills and experience in developing communication strategies, managing multiple stakeholders, and competing deadlines.

We're interested in hearing from people who have:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a listed company, issues-rich and highly regulated environment, managing business communication strategy and implementation.
• A track record in developing, implementing, and measuring integrated and coordinated communication strategies, including channel innovation and social media programs.
• Demonstrated ability running PR campaigns and working closely with marketing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to work with multiple teams and functions to deliver strong outcomes.
• Are an experienced media relations professional.
• Strong issue management experience.
