Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities:

·       Analyze, develop and advise to upgrade efficient networks by assessing and recommending improvements on client's IT Network environments.

·       Customer request fulfilment and incident resolution on security devices that includes, firewalls, load balancers, proxy servers, intrusion detection / prevention, VPN, cloud hosted systems and authentication services within the SLA time.

·       Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and optimizing networks, applications, Servers and Workstations.

·       Establish and improve networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation at client sites.

·       Maintain network performance and troubleshoot network problems and recommend improvements.

·       Efficient analysis of current networking state and deployment for a variety site varying in size from small to very large at client sites.

·       Help in the design and implementation of network infrastructure changes

·       Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.

·       Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.

·       Monitoring and testing application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and work with developers to implement those fixes

·       Testing, implementing, monitoring and tuning security software/hardware to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issues.

·       Modification of current state as-built design materials to reflect a desired ‘to-be’ state in line with updated network design standards and equipment types.

You will be required to plan, install, manage, and maintain the following technologies:

·       Microsoft Server Platforms

·       Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange (Online & Onprem)

·       Sophos Cybersecurity products

·       Cisco Networking, Ubiquity Wireless products

·       VM Ware Virtualisation Platforms

·       Cloud Migrations

·       Lenovo, HP, Dell technologies

Qualification and experience:

·        Bachelor degree in IT or Engineering.

·        Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)

·        Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.

·        To be energetic & motivated.

·        Able to work under pressure.
