Based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, our team take great pride in working with a 'Customer first' philosophy. We are looking for a new person to join our successful team and be a part of the exciting new growth phase we are embarking on!
As a Senior C&I Energy Consultant at The Energy Alliance, you will play a vital role in building our Commercial and Industrial portfolio with your passion for sales. The ability to close phone-based sales is a critical element of this role. It is our expectation you will engage with new customers, matching our services to their needs, ensuring a great experience.

What do you do?
- Business Development through acquiring new clients using existing database and prospecting.
- Building a robust pipeline of opportunities from sales activities to ensure ongoing success.
- Effective management of C&I leads, both existing and new
- Opportunity of building and retaining a portfolio of C&I clients
- Facilitating sales proposals whilst recommending the best fit solutions to meet the customer’s needs.
- Ability to build strong rapport and relationships with clients.
- Manage your daily workflow through our CRM.
- Produce financial reports detailing energy savings and the wider benefits available for our clients.
- Educate customers on Energy Efficiency Solutions such as Solar, LED and Voltag
- Optimization to assist clients with their sustainability goals.
What do you need?
- Experience in an acquisition-based sales role, from face to face to phone-based sales.
- A driven salesperson with an inbuilt desire to succeed in a sales environment.
- Understanding of the energy industry is highly regarded.
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience with a conversational methodology
- Being both tactical and analytical in your approach
- Ability to easily navigate complex solutions while problem solving.
- Be a strong team player who is proactive and takes initiative, bringing your experience to share.
- The ability to work autonomously with a high level of self-discipline is essential.
