How you'll contribute:
Reporting to the Project Director the Senior Contract Administrator contributes by providing commercial and contractual support to the Victorian road maintenance contracts as a member of the project team and the broader Trasport division.
Specifically, the Data & Reporting Analyst is accountable for:
Contract Administration
- Interpret and administer contractual rights and obligations
- Administer head contract and subcontract agreements, including processing of notices, progress claims, variations, and extension of time requests
- Draft contractual correspondence for approval
- Maintain contract and contract correspondence registers
Project Controls
- Provide contract administration support to project teams with respect to head contract and subcontract agreements, including drafting and managing notices, progress claims, variations and extension of time requests.
- Maintain contract, risk and opportunity and correspondence registers
- Prepare and provide input to the development of various reports
General
- Provide ad hoc support to Commercial projects across the business
About you:
You'll have at least 5 years' experience in a comparable role, ideally in directly relevant industries such as project contract administration, legal, commercial or procurement
A committed team player who drives for service excellence and continuous improvement, you’ll demonstrate:
- Familiarity with procurement processes, construction contracts, estimating, scheduling and contract administration principles
- Ability to read and interpret contractual documents, with a working knowledge of contract law and terminology
- Expertise in schedule and cost plan analysis and measurement, contractual claims analysis, and contractual variation management
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, commerce, quantity surveying, finance etc) or certification in contract management (RICS, CPCM or similar)
