Manage the implementation and administration of contractual, commercial, financial processes and procedures for the Aldoga Solar Farm Project

About the Role
The Contracts Administrator, in conjunction with and reporting to the Contracts Manager will be responsible for administering supplier and sub contractor contracts that formulate part of the EPC delivery for the Aldoga Solar Farm Project.
The role will be based on site, project local to Gladstone, Qld.
Responsibilities
- Understand the upstream contractual arrangements and obligations of the company under various contracts (including Engineering, Procurement and Construction Contract, Construction Management Contract and Power Purchase Agreement) and with various clients;
- Implement and ensure compliance with the Contract Administration Plan.
- Assist Contracts Manager and the wider project team in the management of all contractual and commercial matters.
- Provide information to the project team on contractual and commercial matters including compliance with contract documents, legislation and Australian or relevant Standards.
- Ensure compliance by the company with all requirements of the Building Industry Fairness Act (BIF Act) and the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Act (QBCC Act).
- Assist with the review of tenders and negotiation of downstream contracts (process already commenced);
- Day to day management of downstream subcontractors
- Preparation of monthly payment claims
- Relevant degree
- At least 5+ years’ experience in contract administration within an energy / resources / infrastructure project environment
- Proficient in administering standard form or proprietary contracts
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in order to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders within a matrix organisation
- Strong negotiation skills and successful at relationship building across a broad range of levels
- Team player with exceptional communication skills, a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for renewable energies
- Experience working in an international matrix organizational structure (desirable)
- Renewable energy experience, in particular, solar PV (desirable)
- Experience in EPC / EPCM / Principal Contractor environment
