BEC sources and blends vitamins, minerals, and feed ingredients to create a product called premix. Premix is then added to our customers feed ration to optimise its nutritional value. BEC manufactures premix for a vast range of intensive and extensive animal production industries.

Duties & Responsibilities
A great opportunity exists for multiple production team members to join our Premix Manufacturing operations. We offer a casual to permanent opportunity with fulltime hours guaranteed throughout the casual employment period. Two Shifts available, Monday – Friday. Day and afternoon shifts- availability for both is preferred. Onsite training and supervision provided.
- Picking, weighing and batching ingredients for blending.
- Selecting and hand weighing micro ingredients.
- Scanning and hand tipping batches for mixing.
- Safe forklift operation transferring ingredients for weighing, batching and tipping.
- Bagging and stacking small packs.
- Identify and escalate feed safety and quality issues and risks.
- General cleaning and yard operations.
Job Requirements
- Forklift licence essential.
- Prior manufacturing or agriculture experience an advantage, but non-essential.
- Physically capable of the manual handling required in a manufacturing environment. Able to lift, stack and tip up to 25kg regularly.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Own reliable transport.
- Full time availability.
- Right to work in Australia.
