AddressOur client is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join their Commercial Function team in Canberra, with specialist skills and experience in complex contract development, with a high level of commercial acumen.
Deliverables:
Tasks include but not limited to:
- Interpreting and providing advice and assistance on very complex procurement and contract management issues.
- Reports.
- Submissions.
- Guiding and developing staff.
- Plans and strategies.
- Monitoring and managing contract administration, performance and risks against contracts and contributing to the appropriate action.
- Translating and applying legal principles, legislative and mandatory policy compliance obligations.
- Complex Contract development.
- Drafting contract documents for major procurements, including commercial strategies
- Engage and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Design and implement mitigation strategies for the risks associated with contract management activities, supplier’s performance, and compliance with mandatory requirements.
- Develop of Acquisition documentation with commercial focus.
- NV1 clearance
- Able to consume ITAR controlled data and information
- Appropriately qualified and experienced in Contracting and procurement (e.g. Cert IV Government
- (Procurement), Complex Procurement in Defence etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong Defence writing skills.
