We are seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to join our Fusion5 Contracting team based in Melbourne or Sydney. You will lead and build the Contract Negotiations team to support the sales teams by managing contractual discussions and negotiations across the Master services, Licensing and other partnering agreements.
The function combines your service ethic and your legal and negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial terms between the client and Fusion5 that align with Fusion5’s business objectives.
The ideal candidate balances legal expertise with a pragmatic approach, fostering collaboration and solutions that build on the goodwill established by the sales team.
The Senior Contracts Manager will
- Oversee contract negotiations, and contract negotiation team, primarily focusing on master service, licensing and support agreements, to ensure compliance and reduce legal risks
- Resolve contractual disputes in a way that maintains positive client relationships while protecting the company's interests
- Collaborate with the sales team and client to understand client needs and intent
- Provide guidance and training to the sales team on contractual best practices and legal compliance
- Work with internal stakeholders to streamline contract review processes for efficiency and consistency
- Implement and maintain service levels for our contracting process that support completion of contracts in a timely and efficient manner.
Our ideal candidate would have
- Experience in contracting in a professional services organisation
- Minimum of five years progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration and/or management
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state and local laws, regulations and codes in Australia and ideally also in New Zealand
- Experience leading and managing a contracting team to deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent technological knowledge and abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- AAPCM/WorldCC qualification or similar
