QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities.
About the roleYou will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by cultivating, enhancing and managing relationships with local customers. This position requires a high level of customer interaction, involving regular travel to attend in-person meetings. Reporting to the District Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring QBuild meets customers' expectations by providing localised solutions aligned with statewide strategies, thereby ensuring a seamless and cohesive experience for all QBuild customers.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and proactively manage customer accounts to promote QBuild
* Collaborate with regional teams to deliver programs and projects within agreed customer requirements
* Maintain a customer database and accurate records of customer related information to produce reports
* Interpret and analyse customer data
* Assess threats and opportunities
* Undertake strategic measures for continual improvement and output performance
* Be the primary point of contact for local customers
* Schedule regular account management meetings
* Represent QBuild at state-wide customer forums
* Review and analyse aged debts
Required Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience in customer relationships and accounts management in a construction or similar environment.
* Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-centric focus approach towards problem identification and resolution.
Desirable skills
* Knowledge and/or experience in the construction industry
