In the role of Senior Finance Advisor, you will provide strategic advice and support to the Manager (Finance), Director (Technical Services), the Chief Engineer (E&T), and branch leadership team on financial and procurement issues. You will ensure the branch's financial management and business planning practices are coordinated effectively and efficiently and meet the requirements of departmental and government standards.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
Highly desirable
- Possession of a relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or a related discipline is highly desirable.
- Experience in SAP, Excel, PowerBI and other data analysis and reporting tools will also be well regarded.
Requirements of the role
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in using financial systems including SAP and Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Demonstrated communications skills with different stakeholders.
