About your role

We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst - Operations. The role will report to the Finance Manager - Operations and support the teams in providing product costing, analytical, reporting and control support to ensure sound financial decision-making.

What you'll do

• Costing: Support the ANZ and Global teams with respect to costing analysis. Perform product costing set-up, roll-up, analysis and maintenance. 
• Establish an Operations Finance reporting framework leverage zero-base and standard costing concepts, incorporating manufacturing efficiencies, overheads and commodity inflation.
• Demonstrate knowledge across the value chain to drive P&L outcomes. Support Supply Chain leaders through insightful analysis and value add propositions.
• Support month-end close processes and monthly reporting on Supply Chain performance. Assist in preparation of monthly reporting. Provide insights and commentary.
• Perform variance analysis and present outcomes to key stakeholders.
• Partner with the Operations team to establish a robust annual budget.
• Proactively participating in improving processes, tools and systems to improve controls and process efficiency.

What will help you succeed

• Previous Operations Finance exposure and analytical experience in a consumer product, supply chain or manufacturing environment
• Solid experience with reporting and data analysis. Being able to draw insights and tell the story behind the numbers 
• P&L and cashflow understanding
• Critical thinking and a curious mindset
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Being comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment  
• Passion for process improvement 

  

Nice to have (but not essential)

• FMCG, supply chain. operations, manufacturing industry experience 
• CPA/CA qualification
