The Role The Senior Finance Manager will join an experienced team and will be responsible for overseeing the core financial control and month-end accounting of the Insurance arm. Key duties for this role will include, but are not limited to:· Managing a team of direct reports that are responsible for the accounting function.· Be responsible for the planning, implementation and reporting of accounting systems and processes.· Support Risk Register monitoring and reporting.· Manage the regular review and uplift of financial controls and procedures.· Co-ordinate the organisations management reporting processes.· Support ad-hoc investigations and accounting issues.· Coach and train direct reports to uplift them in their career. Your Profile The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate relevant regulatory experience coming from the Australian Financial Services sector. · Relevant tertiary qualifications (Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related).· 7+ years of experience within a related accounting role.· CA/CPA Qualification or equivalent· Financial reporting experience within Australian Insurance industry· Excellent written and verbal communication skills· Strong stakeholder management experience Apply TodayPlease send your resume by clicking on the apply button.
