ABOUT THE ROLE
You will report and work directly with the Financial Controller to provide accurate monthly and annual financial statements.
DUTIES
- Perform month-end closing tasks
- Review balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare the monthly DSO calculation and commentary
- Prepare SOX compliance documentation
- Prepare and support monthly management and annual statutory financial statements
- Trouble shoot issues arising from month-end, BAU and projects
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders across the business
The successful applicant will ideally have the following:
- Minimum 3-4 years commercial experience in accounting
- CA or CPA qualified
- Tertiary qualified in Business, Accounting or Finance or a similar discipline
- Experience in US multi-nationals with US GAAP proficiency (AUGAAAP accounting and SOX compliance)
- Recognised ERP system experience, ideally SAP
- Great communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Group reporting experience in a multinational environment
- Excellent time management skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Initiative – self starter
