The Job:
Reporting to the Manager - Financial Services, you will be primarily responsible for the statutory financial accounts and analysis of their South-East Asia operations.
Key Responsibilities may include:
- Monthly and 1/4ly reporting of financial information.
- Preparation of annual financial statements for South-East Asia Operations.
- Consolidation of financial results for South-East Asia.
- Liaison with both internal and external auditors.
- Preparing monthly journals for numerous entities.
- Preparing and reviewing monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
- Providing support for the completion of the annual tax returns across the various jurisdictions they operate in.
- Maintenance and reconciliation of Pronto ledgers.
- Reviewing Accounts Payable reports and Payroll reports.
- Assisting the Audit and Compliance Manager in ensuring SOX compliance.
- Assisting the Tax Lead with technical accounting issues and analysis.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will be a technically strong, fully CPA/CA qualified accounting professional with a knack for driving financial performance and ensuring strong controls and efficient processes.
Key skills/experience required:
- Fully CPA/CA qualified.
- Commercial accounting experience or Big 4/large Audit firm background.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Strong reporting and analysis experience.
