We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a dynamic listed mining company. The company values its culture and is keen on expanding further. They are in search of a motivated financial accounting professional to enhance existing financial processes, ensuring agility and scalability for the future.
About the Position:
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will report directly to an experienced Finance Manager. Your role within the Finance team will involve ensuring compliance, preparing financial statements, and executing financial closing tasks and reporting obligations. This position requires a high level of financial, analytical, and interpersonal skills, as well as an innovative approach to reporting and accounting.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Commerce or related field.
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Minimum of 4+ years' experience in senior accounting positions or readiness to step into such a role.
- Previous experience in the mining industry or related industries serving the mining sector is highly valued.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems are essential.
- Ability to work to deadlines with a strong attention to detail and excellent time management.
- Brisbane CBD based with a highly competitive mining package on offer.
