We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Expense Steering squad in Sydney.
You'll be responsible for
- Expense analysis including deep dives into underlying drivers. Prepare impactful presentations to concisely communicate outcomes of analysis and trends in a manner digestible for Finance and Non-Finance audiences.
- Support and contribute to the annual planning process, including analysis and validation of key planning inputs.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and streamlining of tasks across the Expense Steering squad.
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, the business, and the Central Project Management Office to validate financial information relating to productivity initiatives and support strategic decision making.
- Represent the Expense Steering squad in Finance-wide forums.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or relevant discipline. Relevant accreditations, for example CA / CPA, advantageous.
- Experience in expense steering and allocated cost analysis.
- Experience in the General Insurance or financial services industry and a demonstrated understanding of its key drivers.
- Ability to analyse complex information, identify errors or inconsistencies, extract meaningful insights, and create impactful presentations.
- Ability to partner and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships.
