My client is seeking a high-calibre Senior Financial Modelling Analyst to join the team in this highly analytical role.
will have a deep understanding of structured finance and the ability to build complex financial models for both RMBS and ABS deals. These will include models for both Term deals and warehouses. w
This role is a fantastic chance to be part of a high performing team and is a unique opportunity to be closer to the action by working on a leading product suite, with a focus on optimisation as well as new product launches and strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities include:
- Build complex financial models from scratch via legal documentation interpretation for both RMBS and ABS deals, including models for both Term deals and warehouses.
- Transaction execution, including coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with internal senior stakeholders within the Trust Management, Analytics and Transaction Management teams to onboard new deals and maintain existing deals i
- Negotiating and reviewing transaction documents
- Identify and improve cashflow models to improve efficiency
- Build relationships with and act as the conduit between Lenders, clients and internal stakeholders.
To be successful, you must have:
- Qualified CA / CPA / CIMA / CFA
- 3-4 years cashflow modelling experience within securitisation
- Experience interpreting legal documentation
- Financial modelling experience using advanced Excel skills (pivots, v-lookups, complex formulas)
- RBA VBA cashflow modelling
- Understanding of Trust Management
- Data analytics
- Negotiating and reviewing transaction documents
- Preparing and calculating of pool parameters and Eligibility Criteria’s
- Analytical mindset, strong problem solving skills, detail oriented
- Confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
The salary on offer for this permanent role is $120k to $130k base + super.
