A fantastic opportunity at nbn, as a Senior Fleet Manager, reporting to the Executive Manager, Property Facilities and Fleet.
A bit about your role
The Senior Fleet Manager’s purpose is to lead the effective and efficient delivery of Fleet related services for nbn’s national leased, owned and hired vehicles. The role will provide functional Fleet leadership, Fleet strategy and Fleet Business Partner support across nbn. They will provide leadership and govern the fleet framework that provides a strategic approach to fleet management to drive improvements in performance as well as provide oversight, fleet expertise and advice to the nbn organisation to ensure fleet management needs are met and satisfy business requirements. The Senior Fleet Manager will look after a small direct team, outsourced key partners and a fleet with over 750 vehicles. The role will oversee the strategy and expansion that will see this part of the business grow in the next 3 years as well as the transition into sustainable vehicles.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will have exceptional stakeholder management skills as they will deal with a range of people from leasing organisations, motor vehicle manufacturers, after market equipment suppliers and internal stakeholders. They will provide compelling fleet leadership, advocacy and advice as we look to the future directions for the nbn organisation. They will ensure strategic management across the entire nbn fleet on a national level, across a mix of vehicles, business groups and uses. You will lead the development and execution of a strategic approach to fleet management, standards, reporting, controls and processes for nbn. You will have experience in developing and managing the implementation of strategies and initiatives within fleet that have influence across the entire organisation. You will be experienced in performance reporting, budget management and fleet operational management. You will be the Fleet expert and able to identify key industry trends, insights and issues, and bring that into the organisation for consideration where required.
